How it all works.

It’s really straightforward. You get in touch about website design, we work out what sort of site you’d like, and how much you’d like to do yourself (I can do the whole thing, or just set you up so you can make the content, or somewhere between the two). That give me the information I’d need to give you a price. Once i’ve given you the price you say “I live in PL14, can I have the discount?” and I say “Yes, of course you can”.

Then we work out what you’d like as your website’s address, and have a conversation about the type of content that you want on your website. You can dictate as much or as little of this as you like. Some people want me to do the whole of the website design, other people want to provide me with their own website design outline. I’m happy with either.

Then either I do all the making part and get on with the website design, search engine optimisation (SEO), ensuring that page load times are minimal and that your site passes core web vitals as I go. Once I’ve got a draft of your website together I show you, and you can feed back on any changes you might want made and I start revising your website.

Once you’re completely happy with the website design side of things, I’ll then finish the performance optimisation and make sure that your SEO is tip top, and then I’ll sort out a sitemap, robots.txt and then have Google and Bing index your site. It usually takes a few weeks (usually somewhere between two and six) for your website to start displaying in search engine results.
